Halloween Nails 2015 | Colorfull skulls

¡Jelouuuu!

Hoy tengo el honor de traeros el último diseño del Reto de Halloween Nails 2015 de Marta. Si tuviera que quedarme con uno me sería imposible por que, por si no os lo he dicho nunca, adoro a cada una de mis super compañeras de blog y ENVIDIO sus superpoderes únicos con toda la maldad del mundo jajajaja.

Bueno, al lío, mi diseño está inspirado en las calaveras y lo que he intentado es añadirle un poco de color.

Halloooo!

Today, I have the big honour of bringing you the last design of the Halloween Nails 2015 challenge that Marta created. If I had to choose only one of all the design we've done it would be impossible because, let me tell you, I adore every single one of my partners in crime and I totally ENVY their amazing superpowers!

Well, let's go to business, mi design is inspired by skulls and I've tried to create a super colorful design.

Os presento a mi asustada calaverita y a sus mini amigos :) ¿no es adorable? La verdad es que soy pésima creando diseños de Halloween, ¡nunca consigo que den miedo!

En este diseño he usado:

- Pintura acrílica de varios colores, yo he usado los de la foto, pero podéis usar los que más os gusten!
- Color Club > Beyond (regalo de mi preciosísima amiga María @thecottonsugar).
- Color Club > Diggin' the dancing queen.
- Un pincel muy finito.
- Un dotting tool.

Meet my scared little skull and her mini friends :) Isn't she  just adorable? Doing this challenge I've realized that I'm really bad at doing Halloween designs, I never get to do a creepy one! I don't scare anyone with them :(.


For this design I've used:

- Acrylic paint (all the colors in the picture).
- Color Club > Beyond (it was a gift of my gorgeous friend María @thecottonsugar).
- Color Club > Diggin' the dancing queen.
- A very thin brush.
- A dotting tool.

A mí personalmente me encantan las manicuras con muchísimo detalle y con patrones repetidos, de hecho, soy super fan de Katharina @cottonconey, ¡deberíais ver qué manicuras hace! Son totalmente increíbles. Si a vosotr@s no os gustan los diseños de este estilo, también podéis probar a hacerlo sustituyendo las calaveritas peques por puntos o pequeñas líneas de colores. ¡Probadlo y contadme qué tal os ha quedado!

I personally love the designs with tiny details and a pattern, in fact, I'm super fan of Katharina @cottonconey, you should see the designs she creates!! She amazes me with every picture she shares. But if you guys prefer something more simple, you can try ths design replacing the little skulls by dots or tiny lines in different colors. Try it and tell me the results!

Halloween nails 2015 | Jack Skellington manicure

Hi sweeties!

Here we are, one week more participating on the Halloween Nails 2015 challenge that Marta has organised. This is our fourth week and it's time for... skulls! Do you want to see and know more about my design?

He optado por  este diseño de espirales en diversos tonos y la cara Jack Skellington, el protagonista de la película 'Pesadilla antes de navidad'. Mi anterior diseño, el de fantasmas, lo adapté a mi estilo  haciendo que fuese más dulce pero esta vez he decidido crear un diseño diferente y más tenebroso. Usé los tonos verde, naranja y lila, colores perfectos para Halloween, ¿no creéis?

I decided to create a spiral design and draw Jack Skellington's face, the main character of 'The nightmare before Christmas' movie. As you know, I usually make cute manicures using light colours because it's my own style, but this time I decided to make something different and more creepy. I used green, orange and purple nail polish which are the typical Halloween colours.

• Cha cha cha de Ciaté London
• Milk de Rare Nails
• Suntuosa de Masglo
• Esmalte negro para estampar de ELYT.es
• Placa 03 de la colección festive de MoYou London
• Pincel fino
• Pintura acrílica negra

For this manicure I used:

• Disco dress from Color Club
• Twiggie from Color Club
• Cha cha cha from Ciaté London
• Milk from Rare Nails
• Suntuosa from Masglo
• Black nail stamping polish from ELYT.es
• Plate 03 from festive collection (MoYou London)
• Brush
• Black acrylic paint

Hice a Jack S. usando pinturas acrílicas y un pincel fino para hacer con más detalle la boca. Los espirales los hice estampando con esmalte negro y seguidamente, con el pincel repasé usando el esmalte Suntuosa sobre la zona estampada. Opté por hacer este último paso, para añadir un poco de purpurina a la manicura. ¡Mirad la imagen!

I draw Jack S. using black acrylic paint and a thin bush. The spirals are made using the plate named previously and painting over it with the brush using Suntuosa nail polish. This step gave to my manicure some glitter. Look at the picture!

Como habéis visto esta manicura es muy diferente a las que suelo diseñar pero el resultado me ha gustado, ¿qué opináis vosotras? El miércoles volved para ver la manicura de calaveras que @mireieta_nails ha diseñado, ¡seguro que es tan original como siempre!

Halloween Nails 2015 | Pumpkins and spooky trees

¡Holaaaa!

Esta semana para el reto de Marta nos tocan ¡CALABAZAS! Muy típicas de Halloween, ¿Verdad? Lanzo una pregunta random: ¿Sabeis el origen de Halloween? Yo he buscado en Google (el gran sabio google) y es interesante, os animo a que investigueis jajaja. Y ahora, pasemos a lo importante... ¡el diseño!

This week for the Marta  's challenge we have to make pumpkin nails! So ''Halloweeny'' right? Random question: Do you know the origins os Halloween? I googled it (the wise google) and it's so interesting, I encourage you to investigate hahahaha. And now, let's see the design!




Me he decidido por unas calabazas y murciélagos negros sobre un degradado naranja (¿degradado? ¿en serio?). He añadido unos arbolitos tenebrosos jajaja, son muy amigos de las calabazas. Hoy también he usado la estampación, me gusta mucho el resultado, es sencillo de hacer y muy llamativo.

I've decided to make an orange gradient with some black pumpkins and bats (gradient? really?). I've added some spooky trees hahaha, spooky trees and pumpkins are friends. Today I've used again the stamping technique, I love the result, it looks simple and eye catching.

Halloween Nails 2015 | Snoopy's Great Pumpkin.

¡Hola a todos!

Nueva semana de octubre lo que significa nuevo tema en el reto de Halloween organizado por Marta ^_^. ¡El tercer tema en el cual debemos inspirarnos son las calabazas! Es inevitable asociarlas con estas fechas, y a pesar de que nunca he tallado una, seguro que es divertidísimo darle todas esas formas y dibujos. En mi campo de calabazas se ha colado un amiguito que seguro que reconoceréis, ¿Os quedáis a verlo?

Hi everyone!

New week of october, it means that we have a new theme for the Halloween challenge Marta organised ^_^. The third inspirational theme we have is pumpkins! We can't avoid thinking of them when we know halloween is coming, and even thought I've never carved a pumpking I'm sure it has to be super funny! A little well-known friend has sneaked in my pumpkin field, would you like to see it?

¡Mirad a Snoopy encima de la calabaza tallada! ¿No os parece gracioso? Cuando empecé a pensar sobre este tema para hacer nail art varias ideas vinieron a mi cabeza pero no podía sacarme la idea de que tenía que hacer algo relacionado con Charlie Brown, pues no paraba de recordar el especial animado que hicieron llamado: Es la Gran Calabaza, Charlie Brown.

Look at snoopy over the carved pumpkin! Don't you think he is super cute? When I started to plan this nail art I had some ideas on my mind but I couldn't stop thinking about doing something related with Peanuts. I couldn't stop remembering the animated television special they did called: It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.

Es una película animada ideal para ver en estas fechas, pues toda la pandilla se prepara para Halloween. Al principio quería dibujar a todos junto al campo de calabazas, pero estos días he estado un poco chof y me apetecía algo más sencillo sin dejar de hacer free hand. Así que el primer paso fue, tras dar dos capas con el esmalte violeta (497 PZN collection de Colour Alike), llenar mis uñas de calabazas, para ello usé el esmalte Papa don't Peach de Catrice, un tono naranja amelocotonado.

It's an animated film perfect for the season, all the gang gets ready for Halloween. At the beginning I wanted to draw each one of them on the pumpkin field, but I didn't felt very well these past days and I wanted something easier, but free handed. The first thing I did after giving my nails two coats with the purple nail polish, (497 PZN collection from Colour Alike) was to fill my nails with pumpkins using the nail polish Papa don't Peach from Catrice, a peachy orange shade.

Añadí los detalles de las calabazas con pintura acrílica y un pincel bien finito, jugando con los diferentes tonos de naranja para crear un poco de volumen y finalmente delineando todo con negro. Para la calabaza dónde está tumbado Snoopy decidí cambiar el diseño y hacerla tallada. Finalmente dibujé a Snoopy con pintura acrílica blanca y negra, dejé secar el diseño y lo sellé con mi top coat favorito: Poshé.

Me he animado a haceros mi primera macro tras los consejos que Judy me dio, y a pesar de que tengo mucho que mejorar estoy muy contenta. ¿Qué os ha parecido? ¿Habéis visto está animación de Peanuts? ¿Os gusta Snoopy?. El próximo miércoles volvemos a tener un nail art de calabazas, seguro que María nos sorprende ;). Espero que tengáis una buena semana.

I added the details to the pumpkins with acrylic paints and a very thin brush, playing with the different shades of orange to give it some volume and finally outline everything with black. For the pumpkin where Snoopy is laying I decided to change the design and draw it like it was carved. To end the nail art I draw the little Snoopy with white and black acrylic paint, let the design dry and aplied my favourite top coat Poshé.

After some advice of how to do macros from Judy, I decided to try and do my first one. I have a lot to improve but I'm very happy of the final result. What do you think about it? Did you ever saw the animated movie from Peanuts? Do you like Snoopy? Next wednesday we will have another pumpkin design but I'm sure María will surprise us with her nail art ;). Halloween Nails 2015 | Adopt a ghost!

Seguro que ya sabéis que las NailAvengers estamos participando en un reto de Halloween creado por Marta. El tema de hoy es... fantasmas! 
La verdad es que no sabía que hacer y pensé: ya deben estar muyyyy asustadas con tanto reto de Halloween así que... ¿por qué no darle un giro al reto con un fantasma que más que susto dé ganas de adoptarlo? ;)

It's finally Friday!! What a looooong week I've had -_-

As you probably know, the Nail Avengers are participating in a Halloween Challenge created by Marta and today's theme is... ghosts!!
The truth is that I wasn't very inspired today, but then I've thought: they must be tired of getting scared with all those Halloween designs so... what if I do a ghost that doesn't scare at all? :)

Pues aquí tenéis a mi pobre fantasma muuuuy triste preguntándose por qué todo el mundo huye de ella con lo bonita que es :(.

Como podéis ver, excepto la parte escrita, el resto es muy fácil de hacer, no tiene grandes detalles.

El fantasma está hecho con esmalte blanco y los detalles en negro así como las letras las he hecho con pintura acrílica negra. No sé si os lo he comentado en alguna ocasión, seguro que alguna de mis compis sí lo ha hecho pero da igual, aprovecho para recordaos que siempre que tengáis que hacer una mani con detalles, olvidaos del esmalte y siempre siempre usad pintura acrílica, lo hace todo mucho más fácil.

This is my little cute ghost who is veeeery sad wondering why does everyone run away from her :(.

As you can see, it's not a complicated design, apart from the writing it has no tiny details.

I used white polish to draw the ghost but all the black details are done with acrylic paint. I can't remember if I've already told you how easy is to work with acrylic paints when you need to draw small things... trust me, it makes a biiiiig difference.

Halloween Nails 2015 | Nerdy Ghosts BOO!

¡¡Boo!!

Hola a tod@s, como ya sabéis las NA estamos participando en un reto muy terrorífico de Halloween creado por Marta. Esta semana el tema principal son los fantasmas así que cuando empecé a pensar sobre el diseño que iba a hacer, una especie de melancolía friki se apodero de mi y me acorde de BOO ¿Quién mas se acuerda de Boo? Para l@s que no sepáis quien son los protagonistas de mi manicura se trata de unos fantasmitas muy graciosos del videojuego Super Mario Bros. ¿queréis conocerlos?

Boo!!

Hi everybody, as you know this month the NA are entering a scary Halloween challenge created by Marta. This week the main theme are the ghosts so when I started thinking about my design some kind of nerdy inspiration came out and BOO appeared on my mind! Who else know about Boo? For the ones who did not know about the main character of this mani it’s about a really funny ghosts who appear in the Super Mario Bros videogame. Do you want to meet them?

Puede ser que no den mucho miedo pero cara de malos tienen ¿no creéis? jajaja

Me encantaba cuando jugaba a Mario en las pantallas donde salían los Boo verlos como iban de un lado a otro intentando dar miedo.

El dibujo de los fantasmas en si no es muy difícil, solo hay que tener paciencia con los pequeños detalles, yo para captar bien su diseño acabé buscándolo en Internet.

Those ghost are not really scary but they have a “bad guy” face, didn’t they? hahaha
I loved when I was playing Mario and this little boos go around trying to be scary.
For drawing it I did a searching on the internet, they are easy to do, you just have to be patient with the little details.

Para hacer este diseño opte por la técnica “a mano alzada” ya sabéis que es con la que más cómoda me siento. Para empezar siempre es bueno poner una buena base a tus uñas, yo he probado por primera vez esta base tratamiento anti-escamación de Masglo y me ha encantado, aún no me ha dado tiempo de ver bien los efectos sobre la uña pero en cuanto la haya llevado un tiempo ya os contaré.

El color de base para esta manicura es el negro (LOLA 011 jet black), siempre queda bien como fondo para unos fantasmas pero como lo veía un poco soso decidí ponerle unos topos de un tono gris oscuro (KIKO nº381) con la “dotting tool” por la parte mas gruesa, antes de pintar los fantasmas le di una capa de brillo secante de Masglo y así conseguir que la pintura acrílica quede mejor y hasta si es necesario se pueda borrar y por supuesto otra capa mas de brillo para acabar y sellar bien el diseño.

To do this design I choose the “free hand” technique because is the one I feel most comfortable. To start you have to use a good base coat, this one is from Masglo, it’s the first time I use it and at the time I like it a lot, I will tell you in the future.
The base black colour is from LOLA (011 jet black), I didn’t want to use only black so I decided to put dots with a dark grey colour from KIKO (nº381) with the dotting tool, after this I put a top coat and then I started with the Boos. To finish and seal the design I used this Masglo top coat which is fast dry.

¡A Lula parece que le asustan un poquito los Boo! jajaja
La verdad es que me lo pase muy bien haciendo esta manicura y luciéndola aún más así que os animo a tod@s a sumaros a este reto de Halloween Nails 2015.
Y ahora preparaos para gritar de puro miedo con las manicuras que están por venir de mano de las NA.

Halloween Nails 2015 | Cute ghost nail art

Como ya sabéis las NailAvengers nos hemos unido al Reto de Halloween Nails 2015 de Marta, así que continuamos una semana más con diseños llenos de imaginación. Esta semana vienen a por nuestras uñas… ¡los fantasmas! ¿Os quedáis a ver mi diseño?

As you know, NailAvengers decided to join the Halloween Nails 2015 challenge that Marta has organised. So here we are to make more creative designs! This week it’s time for… ¡ghosts! Keep reading and know more about my nail art.

Para Halloween estamos acostumbrados a ver manicuras espeluznantes junto con tonos lilas, naranjas, rojos, blancos y negros pero… ¿por qué no le damos un toque más dulce a nuestro diseño? Los fantasmas también pueden ser adorables, ¿no creéis? Mi propuesta es esta manicura hecha a mano usando pínceles finos y los diferentes tonos de esmalte.

Halloween designs are usually creepy and the main colours are purple, orange, red, black and white but… why don’t we make our design more cute? Ghosts can be adorable too, don’t you think? So, I decided to create this freehand manicure using thin brushes and some different nail polish. 

Opté por usar un esmalte holográfico en tono purpura como base de mi diseño, el llamado Eternal beauty de Color Club. ¡Da tanta luz y brillo a la manicura! 

Seguidamente, con un pincel fino y tonos de esmaltes blanco (Milk de Rare Nails) y negro (Jet black de Lola) dibujé los fantasmas y con la ayuda de una dotting tool dibujé los mofletes en rosa (Feathered hair out to there de Color Club). En el dedo anular decidí dibujar una luna y estrellas usando el esmalte Loop the loop de Ciaté London.

I decided to use a holographic nail polish as a base of my design; it’s named Eternal beauty from Color Club. ¡It’s so shinny and bright! Next, I draw ghosts using a thin brush and black (Jet black de Lola) and white (Milk de Rare Nails) nail polish. I also used a dotting tool to make pink fat cheeks with Feathered hair out to there nail polish from Color Club. On the ring finger, I draw a moon and stars using  Loop the loop from Ciaté London.

Para sellar la manicura apliqué una capa de Top Coat y una vez seco le di un acabado especial y es que como ya sabéis los fantasmas brillan en la oscuridad, ¿verdad? Pues los míos también gracias al Top Coat Glow in the dark de Essence, ¡Booooo!

To finish, I applied a coat of Top Coat and when it was dry I added an special effect because as you may know ghosts glow in the dark, do you remember? For this reason, I used Top Coat Glow in the dark from Essence to make them glow too, ¡Boohoo!

Sabéis que siempre le doy un toque de dulzura a mis manicuras, creo que es algo inevitable así que pensé que quizás este diseño de Halloween menos terrorífico es una alternativa diferente que también os puede gustar. Pero sino, esta semana tenéis más diseños fantasmagóricos el miércoles y viernes con las artístas @mireieta_nails y @judyrox. ¡No os los perdáis!
